Introducing the Mentality series by Andrew Agutos. A series of 24 studies honoring the legacy of Kobe Bryant from various moments that defined his career. 

It was not only in success that Kobe was an inspiration. His journey on and off the court has had its share of ups, downs, injuries, praise and criticism, all of which was in the hands of the media to portray publicly. His true fans looked to him for his ability to bounce back from the noise, and ultimately, rise to the occasion once again. Here, Kobe walks off the court under green and white confetti, as longtime rivals Boston Celtics win the NBA Championship 4-2 in the Finals during his only MVP season. The Lakers would go on to win consecutive rings the following two seasons.
