Takashi Murakami

Takashi Murakami is quite possibly today's most recognizable contemporary artist. Spending decades leading the Superflat movement, Murakami has taken the Warhol factory-formula and multiplied it by a thousand. There is little to no distinction between fine art and mass-production in his work, but remaining is an intense attention to care for his flower-filled universe and playful subjects.
