Andy Warhol
Much of contemporary art and visual culture in general can be attributed to Andy Warhol's contributions, theories, ideas and practices in the studio. Manufacturing art in repetitive fashion, his imagery directly reflects his perspective on fame, celebrity, death, and duration. Rightly so, his work continues to be reproduced in the form of reappropriated artwork by newer artists, streetwear collaborations, and just about every household object imaginable.
