Zines

Zines started as self-published, Xerox-printed mini-magazines. Lo-fi was actually the goal and the appeal—their immediate nature allowed them to be easily traded among graffiti writers and street photographers. Today, the most established artists and institutions return to zine-format publishing to allow the most refined, shiniest works a gritty, independent feel.
