Alongside the release of 21 Savage's third studio album american dream, an official collection of streetwear pieces was also introduced featuring original artwork by Andrew Agutos.
Commissioned by Universal Music Group, Andrew Agutos made 3 original paintings with thoughtful intention to include symbols that would speak to 21 Savage's audience, culture and heritage in Atlanta. Bootleg Flag (2024) comments on the desire to obtain designer luxuries, or even just the notion of perceiving these luxuries with bootleg items. Now, the thing being commodified is the flag itself.
